saw your posting on http://www.hiveminds.co.uk/?p=35353. Could you please explain what exactly you did to improve speed in Drupal? I think I found a serious performance problem but nobody seems to care as it results (sums up...) when displaying several hundreds of nodes with a view- most people use pagers, so do i- but i need views providing lots of nodes in special cases. seems the problem is the new theming engine in Drupal as it works fine on D5 but not on D6 :(
