If you have this motherboard or anything using the same ACL4080 chipset, you may notice that your audio won’t be working. This can be fixed through a simple mod.
Reboot your computer, when you have the boot menu of your distro, choose to edit the boot parameters. On the line that starts with Linux add the following to the end of the line :
snd-usb-audio.quirk_alias=0db0419c:0b051917
Note: there are no letter o after the = sign on the line above, only zeros!
Then press F10 to boot (or check any other instructions on your screen)
To make the change permanent, rely on your bootloader documentation (grub or systemd-boot)
Note: you may need to open the audio mixer to choose the proper output (front, rear, SPDIF)
